I paint non-objective works with no predetermined forms, images, or concepts to restrict me. Instead there is a true sense of freedom and liberation in being able to create a work from what springs from inner feeling and imagination.
One approach I use is working with analogous colors and hues of one color family to view their dynamics. In the Reflections series, I explore that subtle drama. Here I focused on color studies of the primary and secondary colors. I used contrasting hues and tints in each color family to create a cohesive whole that has texture and a rhythmic flow of color.
